Coban Salad

This classic Turkish salad is very similar to a traditional Greek salad.


650g cucumber, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
750g tomatoes, chopped

chopped fine, handful

1 red onion, sliced 
200g feta (optional)
juice 1-2 lemons 
3-5 tbsps olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste


1. Bring together the cucumber, bell pepper, tomatoes, onion and parsley in a large mixing bowl.

2. In a small container, bring together lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Adjust quantities to taste.

3. Add the dressing to the salad and toss.

4. Place the feta over the salad and serve. 

Chef’s tips

Add black olives for a little extra flavour.
