Our Community Cookery School began life as a market stall in Salford, where we first tested the ‘buy one, give one’ model with donating food. We then applied the model to our community cookery workshops, that helped bring people together from all parts of the community!
Markets were integral to the development of our foodbank drive in the North West, that has now secured over 10,000 items! We’ve now actively looking to train and develop delivery teams across the UK who can replicate our model, so we can scale up our social impact.
While our core team in Manchester delivers this training you may not see us quite so frequently at the market events where we used to operate in the North West. But hopefully you’ll soon start to see other Bounceback Food teams at events in new towns and cities in the coming months…
The best way to keep up to date with our progress is via social media!
