A childhood classic to some, totally alien to others, banana on toast is a great breakfast choice to have at the ready and is perfect way to get kids to eat one of their 5 a day.

banana, sliced into disks |

butter, to taste |

mixed nuts, chopped, handful |

1. Place the two slices of bread in the toaster and toast to your liking.
2. Butter the toast and then cover evenly with the slices of banana.
3. Add the mixed nuts and creamed coconut.
