The black onion seeds add a delicious, authentic flavour to these naan breads, which are perfect with curries as an alternative to rice.
175g | plain flour or strong white flour |
175g | greek style yoghurt or natural yoghurt |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1/4 tsp | salt |
2 tsps | black onion seeds (optional) |
Black onion seeds are also known as Nigella seeds, and can be found in the spice section in most supermarkets. If you don’t have a grill, cook the naan breads in a griddle pan over high heat for 1-2 minutes per side, or bake for 10 minutes at 180°C, flipping halfway through.
