Banana & Chocolate Porridge

Super speedy, super easy porridge

A twist on the hearty breakfast option! This porridge will satisfy any sweet tooth and keep you full until lunchtime. 


80g  rolled oats
150ml milk
1 tsp (heaped) cocoa powder
1 banana, sliced
1 handful fresh fruit


  1.  Put the oats, cocoa powder, milk and half the sliced banana in a microwaveable bowl. Mix well.
  2. Microwave this mixture for 2 minutes (stirring halfway through) or until the milk has been absorbed into the oats. 

  3. Take the bowl out the microwave and top with the rest of the sliced banana and fresh fruit of your choice. 

Chef’s tips

Topping with peanut butter is another way to spruce up your porridge, or why not try a sprinkling of cinnamon?
