Our 2025 Recipe Calendar, Secret Dishes From Around the UK, is the perfect Christmas gift for a foodie! With 12 exciting recipes (regional specialities) and beautiful food photography throughout, our 2025 Recipe Calendar is a wonderful stocking filler! Secret Dishes From Around The World – Cookbook 1 (£18)

The original Secret Dishes From Around the World (2019) is packed full of vegetarian and vegan recipes and beautifully illustrated by Libby Element. Libby is a talented Manchester-based illustrator who works with acrylics. She is fascinated by natural textures and forms, and her attention to detail brings the recipes to life. This book presents a refreshing diversity of recipes; it includes vegetarian and vegan recipes from traditionally veggie-friendly cuisines, such as Indian. But it also includes dishes from countries that aren’t commonly included in plant-based recipe books – like Papua New Guinea!

Secret Dishes From Around The World – Cookbook 2 (£18)

Secret Dishes From Around the World 2 (2020) contains recipes from 20 countries, attractive food photography and original designs by 20 artists based in Greater Manchester, Cheshire & North Wales. There’s advice from our head chef in the ‘Chef’s Tips’ section, a guide to kitchen utensils and a timeline of how our Community Cookery School navigated the first and second lockdowns in 2020.

Secret Dishes From Around The World – Cookbook 3 (£18)

Secret Dishes From Around the World 3 (2021) features 40 exciting recipes from 20 countries, accompanied by beautiful food photography and artwork created in collaboration with 20 partner arts charities and social enterprises across the UK. Countries represented include China, Iran, Tanzania, and Venezuela, offering a diverse culinary journey. This third installment of our cookbook trilogy is a celebration of food, art, and community—making it the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.

Chef’s Knife (£50)

Our Bounceback branded chef’s knives were created by J Adams Ltd – a family-run steelworks in Sheffield that have been making quality knives for 6 generations. The knives have a rosewood handle and 8″ blade, perfect for long lasting use and ideal for cooks of all standards.

Fund a Free Place (from £35)

Funding a free place for someone to attend one of our cookery workshops, delivered either as a cookalong or in-person workshop, is a wonderful way to make a difference and support our fight against food poverty. The person you fund will benefit from learning a variety of healthy, exciting recipes in a safe learning environment. Our cookery workshops and cookalongs help to reduce social isolation and bring communities together. We run a variety of cookery workshops and cookalongs that are either open to the public or commissioned specifically for our growing network of partner charities.

Since 2014, we’ve taught over 8,000 people how to cook across the UK. Thank you for your continued support!
