1. Firstly, bring a pan of water to the boil. Then add your egg.
2. Cook for 6 minutes for runny yolk, 7 minutes for a firmer egg, and 8 for a hard boil.
3. If you wish to peel your egg first place under a cold tap until cool enough to peel, then gently crack and remove the shell. Be careful to remove any small shards.
